Egg shells... made into chickens!

How many days does it take to collect enough eggs to make art? Lots. It took me many months of two eggs every morning to collect this many egg shells. Lucky for me, I had help from a local farmer who has a delightful selection of egg colors. Some of these egg shells are from eggs that actually hatched into chickens! So fun!

Take a look at all these amazing egg shells. There's nothing quite like a roadside egg carton full of eggs in all sorts of awesome colors.

The first chicken attempt. I've very pleased with the result. More chickens to come!
